RTÉ reported “Dozens of envoys at UN walk out of Netanyahu speech”; Al Jazeera’s video desk ran “Delegates walk out of Netanyahu’s UN speech”; Global News in Canada published at a slug reading “netanyahu-un-address-delegates-walk-out.” In all three the prime minister is the object of an action taken by others. Gulf News made him the passive recipient of a condition: “Israeli PM Netanyahu faces empty hall as delegates exit UN session, delivers Gaza speech.” Fox News reversed the grammar entirely — “Netanyahu calls UN delegates moral cowards at UN General Assembly” — with the walkout surviving only in the URL, which still reads “watch-mass-walkout-before-netanyahu-speech.” PBS NewsHour’s live item, “WATCH: Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu addresses 2026 UN General Assembly,” does not mention the walkout at all. Al Jazeera’s follow-up analysis on 25 September carried it home: “Netanyahu’s UN belligerence wins cheers at home as world walks out.”

Assessment: Two things we will not assert.
